At the back of the buffet there is also self serve soda, white wine, red wine, Heineken, Light Heineken that you use your cruise card to access. We had the mealtime drinks package so we were not charged:

Day 6 - we had dinner at Butcher Cut. This was included as a black card perk. We got to choose 3 items from the Dining Experience menu. If we wanted items not on that menu, we would be charged at 50%. Here is the menu - sorry about the shadows:

Day 6 - more Butchers Cut photos:

Chocolate Ice cream and strawberry sorbet:

Vanilla ice cream:

The steaks came with 4 sauces for the table - I think they were bearnaise, pepper, mushroom, and chimchurri.

Everyone enjoyed their dinner and was too full for our nightly gelato lol.

Great pictures ! Thank you for sharing !

Thanks, I was nervous about the cruise after all the initial negative reviews but looked forward every week to new updates from recent cruisers - they made me feel much better as the cruise approached! Hopefully this thread will help someone too :)

Is the ice cream served for dessert at dinner the same as gelato you had for your usual nightly snack?

Or are ice cream and gelato different treats?

One of my sons got vanilla ice cream in the dining room every night which was definitely ice cream and different than the Venchi gelato. The vanilla ice cream from Butcher’s Cut looks different though from the ice cream he got in the dining room - it looks more like the vanilla gelato - I will have to ask him. There was also soft serve ice cream in the deck 16 buffet.

Here are some pics from Venchi on deck 6 (you could also get gelato at the South Beach pool and Miami Beach pool).

We were able to use our Fantastica non alcoholic or alcoholic drink coupons for the milkshakes, gelato, and coffee.

Baby cup of gelato (we could get the larger size if we wanted to but a few days in I thought I better downsize lol):
