Officially only CUCs are accepted. Places connected with the government, which a lot of places are, will not accept foreign currency, but many individuals will accept Euros etc.

 

If you exchange Euros for CUCs you are better off than you would be if you changed USD for CUCs because they charge a 10% extra fee on USD.
