tef43 Posted April 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2018 There's a UBP, and a SDP, but what is the UDP?
Rare KeithJenner Posted April 24, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 24, 2018 There's a UBP, and a SDP, but what is the UDP? Good spot. I read UBP. That is often what people mean, thinking drinks rather than beverage. In case the OP meant the SDP then, no it isn’t. No drinks are included with that package. don't-use-real-name Posted April 25, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 25, 2018 (edited) Lets break it down letter by letter: UBP U = Ultimate (sometimes confused with Unlimited) B = Beverage (liquor beer wine soft drinks but not specialty coffee or water in any form) P = Package SDP S = Specialty (Not Free - you want Free go to the MDR* or Buffet) D = Dining (only applies to food - not drink) P = Package * MDR = Main Dining Room - free-SDP does not apply here UDP *** U = Ultimate or Unlimited D = Dining P = Package *** Program discontinued and replaced with the SDP Both the UBP and SDP are premium packages that can be purchased or if in a full Suite (non-mini) or Haven Garden etc. complimentary - gratuity service charges still apply. But Wait there is more: As usual NCL varies the fees gratuities and service charges like it was a menu option. When is something that is FREE not FREE - sail on NCL and find out. So regarding: Is Buena Vista Irish Coffee included in the UDP? Maybe if ordered and served at a bar or by a restaurant beverage server YES If ordered at a Specialty Coffee venue NO Ordering by the specialty name "Buena Vista" answer is NO Ordering generic Irish Coffee answer is YES Option you can always take any coffee you make or pour from the Buffet and go to a bar and have the bar tender add the Irish Whiskey free with the UBP. Whether adding the other ingredients of sugar and cream (whipped) optional. Edited April 25, 2018 by don't-use-real-name
Muerz Posted April 25, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2018 Just off the Escape on 4/14. The Irish Coffee was included in every restaurant I ate and was prominently featured on almost every menu.
bluesea777 Posted April 27, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 27, 2018 Buena Vista Irish Coffee IS included in the UBP. Because it is made of regular coffee and Irish whisky.
