adam_s_allen Posted April 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Has anybody had any success or know if it's possible to go from a solo cabin to a room with 2 people after final payment? I have a cruise booked on the Epic for December and a friend is interested in joining but they likely won't know if they can get the time off work until after final payment date. I've upgraded rooms and added a person after final payment. Its certainly possible but likely depends on how sold out the cruise is.
Rare Huntingdon1701 Posted April 29, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2018 I've gone from a studio to a balcony, which could have taken the extra person - although I didn't add any one. Luck of the draw with upgrades though.
zqvol Posted April 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2018 If there is room on the ship it is no problem at all. First you upgrade, then you add the extra passenger and pay the additional fees. No penalties involved. The extra fees are the difference in fare, plus the fees and taxes.
