aunteemom Posted May 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2018 We will be in Dublin for one day and would like to plan our itinerary. We are interested in Trinity College and Library, Guiness Storehouse Tour, Kilmainham Gaol, and other sights. We would like to buy advanced tickets. Can you please help us with setting up a time frame to purchase tickets for these sights. Many thanks
trosebery Posted May 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2018 Are you looking for advice on how far in advance to purchase tickets? Or how much time to leave between timed entry tickets? Are you planning on getting around via HoHo bus? What other sights were you going to try to see?
Rare geoherb Posted May 8, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2018 Our HoHo bus went in the order you listed, so plan on getting earliest ticket possible for Trinity College to see the Book of Kells. Some folks report an hour for their visit, but two would be better if you want to see more and take your time. Plan on a half hour between Trinity College and Guinness Storehouse. The buses come by every 10 minutes ideally. Two hours at Guinness, or more depending on what you want to do. We had to wait for the lesson in pouring a perfect pint and ate lunch there, which made our visit a little longer. Another half hour for bus to Kilmainham Gaol.
