Clothing for Norwegian Fjord cruise

Same here, MisterBill!! I had to pull some of my cool weather clothes out and replace with warmer weather clothes. But hey, squishable bags are saving the day at our house! LOL. Can still pack that warm coat AND shorts and tee shirts!

I think it depends on how far north you are going

 

i would pack a rain jacket no matter where in Norway you are going

The weather looks like it will be quite a bit cooler next week than it is this week. Some of those 70's become 50's and if you go as far north as Tromso it will be in the 40's. I am preparing for all eventualities.

Given all the talki about compression bags here I just have to post regarding Packing cubes which is another alternative. Fabulous also for organizing things. I'll save the description - google or find on Rick Steve's website. I have also found them at Home Goods/Marshalls on occasion, different brand but the same concept. I fit a lot into a bag, no wrinkle issues. They also come in various sizes.

Highly recommend them. Have told several people about them and now they too are fans.
