MrsB.UK Posted May 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2018 I'm travelling on the Silhouette next month with my 8 month old (we are all first timers!) to the Baltic. Does anyone know whether the cot/crib that they provide for baby to sleep in has a 'proper' mattress or just a plastic covered hard mat (as come with most travel cots as standard in the UK)? Am wondering whether to take our own travel cot mattress, as we haven't been able to get an answer from Celebrity directly... Also, any other tips for travelling with an 8 month old? cb at sea Posted May 16, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2018 It's a flat mat, if you get a pack and play. Even a crib won't have a "sealy posturepedic" type of mattress...and a small baby doesn't really need too much padding.
