Sunny side of the ship for Singapore to Sydney re positioning?

We are thinking about booking Voyager of the Seas cruise from Singapore to Sydney in Nov 2019. We have never cruised in this part of the world before and wondered if we should go for a port or starboard cabin to get the most sun on the balcony on the sea days.

 

We're used to doing transatlantics and always consider where the sun will be so thought it would be worth asking for a different itinerary.

You're heading due south ish for most of the itinerary and the sun rises in the east and sets in the west so I would go for a starboard balcony to have the majority of the sun in the afternoon. I think that's right!
