Ice Shows

I just booked a cruise for the end of this year on Liberty. It’ll be a first on this ship for me. My question is this: is there a standard ice show on all ships with rinks, or are the shows different depending on the ship? I’ve got another cruise book for the end of 2019 on Oasis and was just wondering if I could expect to see different shows

I guess my question is what do you consider different? They will have different costumes and skate to different music but otherwise, all ice shows look the same to me.

The shows are different from ship to ship. Some ships have 2 different shows. And a show for the top tier event usually put together by the cast

I would be surprised if you remembered a show in detail. They are more alike than different...

There is one show - I think it was on the Harmony - where (according to the storyline) performers got to choose their song and performance for a part of one of the shows (there was 2 different shows). That was my favorite ice show. Different stories and tempos but lots of energy.

 

I agree they do run together after a while which is probably why i can’t remember what ship that was on. But I find them entertaining.

I’ve only been on smaller ships, so this December will be the first ship I’m on that even has an ice rink

They are not DHs favorite thing on the cruise ship. But he appreciates the talent and athleticism. Or the nap break. [emoji849]
