When can you print your SetSail pass? for Anthem

Recommended Posts

We were so exited to print SetSail passes this evening at the 90 day out time frame but now we are told from RCCI that we cannot do that until day 49. I am so sure we did this at 90 days for the last 2 cruises...any input from when you have been able to do your Set Sail passes. We were on Oasis the last 2 times and this year it is Anthem. Could that make a difference? Thanks for all your input.

Our final payment was made a month ago. Guess we will just check our site every few days to see if we can do it. Thanks

I've noticed that sometimes the cruise docs take a few days mroe than the 49 day mark lately.

They are two totally different things, Set Sail pass and travel documents,

The boarding pass can be printed at the end of the online check-in (available 90 days before departure), and travel documents will be available 49 days before the trip, of these documents the only useful thing are the tags for luggage.

Printing your SetSail Pass is normally not available to do until you have made Final Payment.

Filling out your SetSail Pass can be done 90 days prior to departure.

90 days before departure is the final payment date, some countries still applies the old rule of 75 days

As stated, cruise is paid for and yesterday was 90 days and nothing was available. We called Royal and the guy said it was 49 days out before we could do anything. We will try a couple times a week to see if anything changes or maybe call Royal again to see if someone else gives a different answer.

Unless things have changed recently, it's been 90 days and paid in full for the SetSail pass and 49 days for the cruise docs and luggage tags. I've seen these numbers vary by a few days lately.

Final payment of the balance must be received at Royal Caribbean's offices

....75 days prior to the sailing date for 1 - 4 night cruise vacations

....90 days prior to the sailing date for 5-night or longer cruise vacations.

The above information also applies to all holiday sailings, defined as sailings that occur on or between Christmas and/or New Year's day.

If using ChoiceAir, travel documents may not be available at 49 days from departure.

What is the difference? Arent they the same?

SetSail pass is the boarding document. Cruise docs contain the cruise contract and other detals and information. Luggage tag download is available at the same time as cruise docs.

Thanks Bob for a more detailed explanation than I gave.
