Lunch on Embarkation Day

 Share

Recommended Posts

I will be going on a cruise starting July 2 on Mariner. I’ve heard everybody goes to the Windjammer right away for lunch and that it can get packed. Anybody know if other dining venues are open for lunch on the first day to avoid some of the lines? Haven’t sailed on Royal Caribbean for almost 5 years so not sure.

Thanks

Café Promenade - small sandwiches and snacks

Sorrentos - pizza

She is just coming out of drydock. If they added any new venue, we won't know until her first cruise, in about a week and a half.

And I don't consider the first day in the Windjammer to be unbearable. It's all a matter of timing. Get there early, when it first opens, or get there late, when the cabins become available (1 pm.) and everyone heads out to the cabins.

And in regard to 'what is open on embarkation day', nothing has changed in five years. :)

When did Mariner get Sorrento's?

Never mind, I see Bob covered it.
