ChrisNCruiser Posted June 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2018 Hi friends, I've booked a Guarantee Balcony on the Carnival Pride at a much lower price than what it would cost to select the least expensive balcony on my own (a balcony with an obstructed view). If we get an obstructed view cabin and/or a cabin in a less desirable location, we'll still be very happy with what we got considering the price. That said, can anyone tell me if they've ever selected a guarantee balcony on a Carnival Spirit-class ship, and if so what you received? (Normal-sized balcony, extended balcony, obstructed view balcony?) Thanks in advance!

Touringmom Posted June 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 19, 2018 Just assume you’ll get the worst balcony room on the ship. That way if you get anything better it will be a nice surprise! Last time we got a guarantee on Disney it really was the worst room (at the very end of a looooong hallway basically next to the engine on a low deck) but we still had a great time! Maggie'sMom Posted June 20, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 20, 2018 Cruising the Pride this summer. I was assigned my guarantee balcony room last week. A regular balcony room (8D) on deck 7.
lukeduke07 Posted July 20, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 20, 2018 We got an extended balcony when booking a guarantee. worked out awesome. I've also sailed in an obstructed balcony room. Also awesome. you'll be fine.
skrufy Posted July 20, 2018 #8 Share Posted July 20, 2018 We were given an obstructed view balcony rear. The balcony was not obstructed. The reason for the obstruction label is if you lean over the balcony you can see the lifeboats
