cruiserking Posted June 25, 2018 #26 Share Posted June 25, 2018 Some roll calls are very quiet others and very chatty. Try asking some questions of your cruise mates; What excursions are you planning in this port? Try and plan some events on board like Slot Pull, always lots of fun. Jonathan There's nobody to ask questions of! They all have made only one post months ago. I've posted, hoping they'd see a notification and come back but I'm talking to myself. Hence the sad post. GottaKnowWhen Posted June 27, 2018 #28 Share Posted June 27, 2018 My impression is that Alaska cruises are much less active than any others. My speculation is (1) so many 1st or 2nd timers do Alaska, haven’t discovered Cruise Critic; and (2) the Alaska board here is so active and helpful that there is little port & excursion info to be gained from a roll call. teknoge3k Posted June 28, 2018 #29 Share Posted June 28, 2018 I usually ask in our social media roll calls who is signed up for the CC meet & mingles, and usually a majority of the people haven't even heard of CC.
