Does anyone know how far it is from the port to the double decker sight seeing bus in Valencia?

Not really in port.  It was about a half mile (.8 km) walk to the bus stop.  With 5 ships in port about 20 people got left behind when the first bus left.

Even if you miss the first bus, you have plenty of time to get the next one 🙂

IMHO Valencia HOHO buses is not the best deal for 24H ticket. People can cover city center and City of Science and back to port in 2-3 taxi rides and they should be still cheaper than tourist bus fare for 2 @17€ pp. But if one wants to stay on the bus and see city from there then may be it's worth it.
