I like it, except it does mention surge suppression, which is a no no.

Gotcha. (What is the reason behind that, do you know?)

This one?

Ships and other maritime systems are grounded differently than an onland system. Surge protectors are a fire hazard on a ship..

I think you would be better off with one that has a cord like the previous one you linked. These all on one packages might have problems blocking other receptacles.

Makes total sense.

I think I found something. What do you think?

It wouldn’t be plugged in all the time. Probably just at night when charging nook and stuff

I have that one also. I like it because the plug rotates so no matter which way the receptacle is orientated it will fit. There use to be two models, you want to make sure to get the higher USB output amps. When it says "5 amp" USB output that means 2.5 for each outlet if two devices are plugged in.

However, last year I bought this one as it's much smaller and easier to pack.

Aren't we so technologically advanced today?

Just like my single cell phone signal will cause airplanes to crash...

That Belkin Mini has surge protection and should not be used on ships as it can be a fire hazard.

The video just said it was a surge protector. Is that allowed? I thought they weren't. Only maybe some CLs?

While there have been no documented cases of cell phones interfering with the navigation or control circuits of a "fly by wire" airliner, and hence the lessening of the restrictions on use of these, there are documented cases of surge protectors causing fires on ships (and I've witnessed a couple), including a Marine Safety Notice from the USCG, showing a definitive link between use of a consumer surge protector and shipboard "delta" wiring:

https://www.dco.uscg.mil/Portals/9/DCO%20Documents/5p/CSNCOE/Safety%20Alerts/USCG%20Marine%20Safety%20Alert%2003-13%20Surge%20Protective%20Devices%20Onboard%20Vessels.pdf?ver=2017-08-08-082206-293

The danger of surge protectors in shipboard wiring is that your surge protector can be working perfectly fine, even be right out of the packaging, and a ground fault anywhere else on the ship can cause your surge protector to fail and cause a fire. It is a "silent killer".

Now that one might be a winner! I can’t find anything about surge protection. And I like that it’s fast charging. At least the one usb is.

Well, I’m convinced. 🤓. I definitely don’t want to cause trouble on my cruise. 👍🏻

What about this one? It says it’s 40 W. Is that 40 Watts? Is that ok?

I would think that one would be fine, as the power cord has NO ground. My understanding that it can't surge protect without a ground prong
