Cost of Cab to Airport from Ft Lauderdale port

Does anyone know the estimated cost of cab fare from Port of Fort Lauderdale to the Fort Lauderdale Airport? If it worth buying the shuttle from Carnival? What is the cost of Carnival transfers? If any one knows it would be helpful.

Around $10 for cab; about $12 pp for shuttle. Take the cab, its faster.

I just contacted http://www.fortlauderdaletaxivan.com , they only use mini vans & shuttle vans was quoted 17.00 to 18.00 for up to 5 people (we have 4). Waiting for confirmation for reservation.
