slei15 Posted July 2, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2018 So as I just got off of cruise number 2 for 2018 and look towards the Seaside in November, naturally I had to start planning for 2020 already. I booked the Meraviglia out of Miami for March 15 and March 22 (not sure which week spring break will be yet) in an S3. Looking at the deck plans and cabin choices, I think the 2 on deck 12 (12007 and 12010) are the two largest S3's on the ship in both cabin and balcony size, but can anyone confim this? The plans all say the cabin is between 291-409 SF or something like that, and all of the other decks are around that 291 mark. My confirmation shows a total of 39.66 SM between the cabin, door, and bathroom, which at a rough conversion of 10.78 sm/sf is 427.5 sf. I booked 12007 for 1 week and 12010 for the other. Did I pick right? TIA!
SirWolf Posted July 2, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2018 While doing some research on MSC Bellissima cabins I came across the following video of MSC Meraviglia Aurea Suite #13004. It seems that cabin 13004 and cabin 12010 are almost identical. Link:
Até Posted July 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2018 I had that information written down, but it took me a bit to find it. Deck#-Cabin/Balcony (sq-ft) 13-295/280 12-420/388 11-290/312 10-295/323 9-295/323 I'm sure both deck 13 and 12 are true suites with a separate living room from bedroom. The other decks probably have one large cabin area.

Até Posted July 4, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 4, 2018 I should have said possibly rather than probably. I know at least one deck's cabins are not a suites because of the stateroom type's website description - probably the smallest ones on deck 11. I would be interested if anyone knows if decks 10 and 9 are true suites as they are the same cabin square footage as deck 13.
sidari Posted July 4, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 4, 2018 (edited) Deck 12 are the largest and have the longest balconies, take a close up look at the front side of the ship and you will see the difference in size. We are booked in a deck 12 forward curved balcony for Xmas 2019, the two cabins are over 400 square feet. There is a video on YouTube of a Deck 13, 13004 balcony. Now they just need to publish the school calendar so I know which week we can go! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
