first time cruising Posted July 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2018 Hi, husband and I are booked on Explorer of the seas from Seattle to Australia departing 5th October. Could anyone please explain the way the five night dining package works. The prices quoted are in Australian dollars. Five night package $131.25 per person which equals $26.25 per night. On the web site it says that $35.00 is put towards a la carte dining venues. So does that mean we pay and extra $13.75 on top of the $26.25 if for example we dine at Chops which costs $48.75. I do hope this question makes sense to some of you very seasoned travellers with Royal Caribbean. Thanks
Pmorton3360 Posted July 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2018 You will receive the $35 for 1 night. That is plenty of food. No extra unless you order more than $35. 5 night package is great. Go to a specialty resturant and book your times when you get onboard. Easily done. They can be changed if available. I used 1 for brunch. Fun. Enjoy. Ourusualbeach Posted July 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2018 You don't pay any extra at any of the restaurants. It's all included. At Izumi you can spend up to $35. Sent from my STH100-1 using Forums mobile app
Rare countess5 Posted July 4, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2018 Not sure about your question, but please take care of the ship. We are sailing her in-the South Pacific in February! 😀
