Nonnie1975 Posted July 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2018 We are going on a 7 day cruise out of Seattle for Alaska. The cruise before us is sailing the same itinerary to Alaska and arrives at 7 AM. Got an e-mail saying that everyone can't start boarding until 1. but can drop off luggage at 11. Could we go earlier about 11 or 11:30 and hope we can get on the ship. We are Platinum members. Would like to eat lunch in the MDR,but if boarding doesn't start until 1, this will be hard. Thx! neverbeenhere Posted July 10, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2018 Show up at 10:34am(10:33 is way too early) in most cases you will get on soon enough. But be prepared to wait, if necessary.
moki'smommy Posted July 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2018 This sounds like the routine boarding letter. If you show up early, worst case is that you'll be stuck waiting in the terminal. On the other hand, if you show up at 1, you won't be having a sit down lunch on the ship. Chances are you'll be boarding well before 1pm.
