Cruisin2Sun Posted January 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2006 A general tendering question... Can you get on and off the ship throughout the day, or is it only available in the a.m. and p.m. So if we want to stay on the ship for a few hours in the a.m. and then leave, can we? It's been a while since last cruise and we alway got off the ship first thing in the morning. may want to do it differently this time if possible.. thanks
wrp96 Posted January 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2006 Generally you can go back and forth all day. Beware though. The first people off the ship are usually on ships tours so if you are just going off on your own it may be a while before you can get on a tender to get off the ship. After that, depending on the ship and the port, you will need to have a ticket for the first couple of hours of tendering.
Rare Keith1010 Posted January 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2006 Yes, you can take the tenders back and forth multiple times. They will start the first tender after the ship leaves customs and many times as noted above iniitial priority goes to those who have excursions. springtxbill Posted January 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2006 If you are not in a rush to get off in the first hour and a half or so there should be no lines to get a tender. They will run one about every twenty minutes or so regardless of how many people are going to or from the ship. You can make multiple trips. Sheffie Posted January 8, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2006 Sometimes it can take longer for them between runs as they are waiting to get a few more passengers on.
