bjstenman Posted July 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2018 We know the pros and cons of FTTF, so not asking about that, but we have it for our cruise on the Dream out of New Orleans in September. Just wondering what is a good arrival time at the Port having FTTF? Thanks!

nwo4life Posted July 22, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2018 Since I hate sitting in the terminal waiting, I would try to pull into the parking garage at 11:30 so I could go directly onto the ship after checking in.
Brad1972 Posted July 22, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2018 When we go with FTTF we're there when the doors open. I paid for that first day on the ship and FTTF perk then I want on it as soon as possible. Most places the doors open at 9:30-10:00 am and usually boarding starts for priority boarding (Diamond, Platinum and FTTF) around 11:00 am. jdoc2010 Posted July 22, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 22, 2018 I choose not to purchase FTTF for the New Orleans port, because there is rarely a long queue to board and the ports dont have tendering. I know FTTF is a personal preference, and I do purchase it when I cruise out of Jacksonville and Port Canaveral. Purvis1231 Posted July 22, 2018 #8 Share Posted July 22, 2018 On my recent voyage out of New Orleans FTTF boarding began around 11:15. I noticed if a new person with FTTF walked up- they escorted them to the head of the line. So if I had FTTF I would arrive around 11:15.
