Oasis- Punch hole in key card?

Is it still okay to punch holes in the key cards for use on a lanyard? I have family members who want to do this and find it easier than having them in plastic pouches on the lanyard. Also,, if so, where on board (or at the port) can you get them punched?

Yes, on Oasis you can punch a hole in your SeaPass card. It’s the ships with RFID cards that will not punch them due to the risk of destroying the chip. In your case, just go to Guest Services and they will be happy to punch your card for you. I hope I was able to help, have a great cruise! Oasis is an amazing ship!

And I believe that the reluctance to punch cards on the newest ships (Harmony, Symphony, Quantum, Anthem, Ovation) is not the fear of hitting the chip, but hitting the "antenna".

Yes as it doesn't use RFID onboard cards.
