Odd question about parking at Port of Miami

We are a group of ten - nine are flying in, one will be driving from the Gulf side. We are staying one night pre cruise - can our one driver park her car ad the Port the day BEFORE we sail or are you only allowed to begin parking on your sail date?

You can park there anytime you like. It's an automated kiosk, they have no idea if you are sailing or anything of the sort. There is also no security before entering PortMiami so you wouldn't have to prove you are on a cruise or anything like that. You can definitely park there.

What about having her meet us at the airport and doing long term parking there? I'll have to check the rates.

Figure on a $27+ cab ride post cruise to get back to MIA and collect the car -- closer to $20 if they use Uber or Lyft.

We have limo service already scheduled for airport to hotel, hotel to port and port back to airport after the cruise for the group so I'm thinking this might work better. Thanks for the responses everyone!
