Buying internet before boarding or after?

I'm debating buying one of the internet packages. Is there any benefit to buying it before boarding, or are the internet packages the same price if I wait to purchase until I board?

Usually you get extra data as a bonus when prepurchasing too.

Whenever I've accessed my booking and gone into purchasing extras, the internet package has had the details shown there.

If I access my booking and go into my purchases the internet package shows “Premium Internet ... 4 devices ... full web browsing ... Data limit: 5GB”. No information about extra data because pre-purchased.

I log on using the MSC USA website and I am cruising MSC Seaview in September 2018 Western Med. Maybe it has something to do with the ship or itinerary ? :confused:

$191.90 - 10gb, 4 devices

I've looked at our bookings and there isn't any additional data offered now either, it has been for at least a year or so but they have clearly now withdrawn the offer. You still save by pre purchasing but unfortunately the extra data is no longer included, sorry :(

New to MSC, status matched to Gold. I thought I read that they offer a Social Media package, but only available to purchase once onborad?
