RambleRocket Posted July 31, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2018 Hello All! My family is sailing to Cuba later this month from Tampa. Canadian do not require a VISA for Cuba. When I called Carnival, they told me that we would be charged $75 per person for a VISA. I told the agent I was Canadian, she got completely confused and said the VISA was mandatory. I called again, but I could not get a clear answer. Anyone one there know the answer to this or whom to contact for a direct answer. Thanks! When I went, on a different cruise line, at check in, we were asked to check a box and sign a slip. 1. We need a Visa, charge us $$$$ 2. We will not get off the ship, so do not want a VISA, 3. We do not need a VISA for travel to Cuba. If you checked box 1, you got a paper VISA, told to fill out and bring with you off the ship. Carnival should be the same way.
