Akwa Posted July 31, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2018 Has anyone successfully used an oil diffuser on their cruise? I have one that plugs into a USB port. It is small and has no heating element but it does ionize water into mist (or something like that, not sure of the science.) You put water and a few drops of essential oil and it disperses the scent through the room. Does this sound like something that will get me a trip to the naughty room? Of course I will be respectful of sensitivities of my fellow cruisers to scents and perfumes. I use only a few drops.
casofilia Posted August 1, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2018 I don't see how anyone would be inconvenienced. There is an extractor fan that would make sure the "smell" does not get out of the room.

shadowmeboy Posted August 1, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) We use a Scentsy Go! It’s a rechargeable battery operated device that uses a fan to spread the scent from a scented pod. See picture. Edited August 1, 2018 by shadowmeboy
WanderlustJourney Posted August 1, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2018 I use an “aroma roam” from Saje with the Immune diffuser blend. I also use Immune in a roll on and haven’t had a cold in two and a half years. I don’t travel without it...
si4444 Posted August 1, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 1, 2018 I've used one on many NCL cruises. A small round one with a water compartment and a nightlight and just add a few drops. Mine plugs into the AC outlet. No issues with staff. Sent from my A1R using Forums mobile app
