So what were you paying per person, including taxes and port fees originally, and what are you paying now to upgrade to a Suite gty ?

Bad news is there still is ALOT of JS's available, let hope you don't get a assigned a cabin anytime soon..........there still is also ALOT of higher suites available...........this cruise didn't sell well at all did it?

With only about 7 weeks to go before your sailing they sure have alot of cabins to sell............I believe prices will even go lower before it's all said and done.

I would keep checking prices at least 3 or 4 times a day.

We were booking through our prime cruise offer. So first I paid $190 and change for an interior. Then $588 to upgrade to OV balcony. Then $2 to move to a suite guarantee.

My end goal is crown loft over looking the ocean but they currently want $1300 and that’s too much in my opinion.

Make sure I got this right? so you paid only $780 per person for a Suite GTY?

$780 total. Is this total for the 2 of you or is this just one's person total?I had a free interior room so only had to pay port taxes and fees and then worked from there.

This is getting more interesting by the moment...........okay so you are paying $780 PER PERSON...........now you have another option of moving to a crown loft....for an additional $1300, I assume that is for the 2 of you.............so then you would be paying an additional $650 per person to to move to a crown loft.

All this is assuming there are 2 of you in the cabin right? Is this correct?

So if you are saying when all said and done you would be paying $1430 for a Crown Loft PER PERSON...........if that isa teh case I would do it in heartbeat.............What are you waiting for?

Currently Crown Lofts on your sailing are selling for $2600 per person

$780 total. Not per person. $390 pp.

My thoughts are this. The extra room, fantastic. The shower with two shower heads, amazing. The perks, amazing. But are the extra perks worth $1300?

I’m someone who doesn’t view it as a total package but as a single transaction.

If I took $780 plus $1300 and said is $2080 TOTAL worth it for a crown loft? Absolutely. But the $780 as already gotten us BOTH a junior suite guarantee. So is the $1300 worth the Crown Loft upgrade?

So by this you are saying for an additional $1300......so you would be in for Crown Loft Suite for $2080 TOTAL for the cabin...........then I don't even know why you are asking all of us.............JUST DO IT at that price, it's a Steal!

if this is all true, don't even worry about the crown and anchor points..........who the hell cares.

I would again say Hell yes...........the difference in a crown loft and JS is huge......tell me this will you ever get a chance again to cruise in a crown loft? at that kind of price............If the answer is no, spend the $1300 and enjoy it! You won't be sorry!

Give me that option on my upcoming Anthem cruise and I will sign up! I'm in a lowly balcony cabin by the hump on deck 8......I would gladly upgrade to a crown loft, I paid $ 3000 total.for our 12 day cruise.......it's a good price but still I would pay extra $2500 on top of that to go to a crown loft suite. On our sailing crown lofts were over $6000 per person when we booked.....

Go ahead and repost your question............Who on here would book a CRown Loft Suite on Harmony of the Seas for $2080 total for 2 passengers........now ask them if you should pay that or just stick with a JS Gty at $780 total............

When you asked your origianl question, I don't think people understood what you were paying totally for the cabin.

Remember free beer and wine during the day and free drinks during happy hour, free water, free wifi..............with a crown loft, you won't get that with just a JS....

I may be in the minority but I would not pay $1200 total to go from a probable JS to a CL. Maybe on a TA or if you spend a great deal of awake time in the cabin? A JS gives you everything you need without the wasted space between the walls.

I would of kept the original Ocean balcony cabin for free.

That’s my dilemma. I just don’t see $1300 in perks. The experience has a dollar amount just not that much. A three figure number lol.

The free room was interior. The upgrade was to balcony then JS.

It wasn't a free Oceanview balcony cabin, it was stilll costing them $778....but for the extra $1300, they get all this besides other perks too, plus a much nicer cabin then a JS.

Since I don't care about the extra space.

$1300 would be a bit much for "free" beer and wine.

If the OP is diamond or above it makes even less sense IMHO

We already have the drink package. So for us it’s free WI FI. Coastal kitchen all day. Room service. Suite sun deck. Thermal spa use for a day. And I think that’s it.

Ours is a casino deal as well. We have paid this far. $190 in port fees and $588 for the balcony. This would be to upgrade to the JS. But like you mentioned, regardless the price is still almost $1000. I did call yesterday and a GS is $1407.

Tell me this, not sure how that prime club thing works........if you are available to get prices like this for every cruise or not............if you can then keep the Suite gty, if you can't then get the crown loft this time for sure...................or like Beachammo said just stay in a broom closet and save the money.

That’s the one we thought would be most cost effective but by the time we pulled the trigger on the guarantee the GS is gone.

It worked in our favor considerably tho as the guarantee ended up being $2.

Last time we were in a GS we also got free internet and took advantage of the free luggage valet service at the end.

Also, had a 'w' several times and ALWAYS wound up with a JS

Was drink package free, or did you pay for that?

Something just tells me they should just pay you to go on this cruise?

Also if you upgraded to the CLS couldn't you just cancel your drink packages? That would bring the cost down some. Unless you never drink what they offer in the suite lounge.

I'm going to guess they didn't pay for that either?.............I don't know maybe I'm just not getting it, but if someone at RCCL would come up to me and offer I Crown Loft Suite for $1000 per person for a 7 day cruise..........I would take it.

Can't do the "broom closet". DW HAS to have at least a ocean balcony. Preferably a corner aft...[emoji41]
