Allure Self disembarkation

Since Allure is not yet in Miami, we don't have any report as yet. I'd estimate somewhere around 60-90 minutes after scheduled arrival. Around 15 min to the MIA airport from the Port of Miami.

No empirical data yet on AL out of POM.

My past experience on other Royal ships

out of POM (using express self-debark, no checked

luggage).... I was in my car at the parking garage

and on the road between 7:30 and 8:00 AM.

The past few years had some delays...reports

of getting enough CBP officers there early to

process folks. Seems to be improving now.

Be interesting to find out how fast the new Oasis class terminal

will process everyone. 7 AM start would really be good if they can do it.

Royal wants everybody off early..their best interest.. so maybe happen.

We used pier G and sometimes J.

THanks for all the info. When does the Allure move to Miami? IS the new terminal open yet? Anyone know if it will have a global trusted traveller lane to go through CBP?

Allure starts cruising out of Miami in November. The new terminal is not ready.

Host Bob, do you know if I do the Valet program, can I self disembark and go straight to the airport when I want? Isn't that the point that my bags are checked through?

I believe there is a time for Luggage Valet people ti disembark. Something about giving the customs people time to screen your bags if necessary.
