So why the rush to get off at the end of the cruise?

My vacation is not over until I am home. So, I do not rush. Yes, I am respectful of the need to clear the ship. I do not stay beyond the set deadline. But, after cruising a bit, I am not one to try to beat the masses off. I am an early riser, but I still take my time that last morning. I book a later flight or schedule myself to stay an extra day in that city so I dont have to end my vaca racing against a clock. And the airport is also no fun that morning. How fun is that after a week or two on a cruise. My mantra is that one extra day off work wont kill them or me. Those days of going back to work the next day are far gone.
