Port to Port? Pt Everglades to POM

Has anyone done a back to back where you disembark in Port Everglades and then embark same day in Port of Miami? What would be the best way to make the transfer and what would be the cost and the time required to do this?

Thanks. We are considering a Princess cruise in November and then the day it disembarks, heading over to Miami to board an RCL cruise. We have never done uber or lyft, and usually don't travel in the US with cell phone coverage, so is a taxi our best (but priciest) option? Don't want it to be a $200 trip or anything. Thanks

Don

Kamloops is mixing up PC with PE

Port Everglades to POM is about a 30-45 minute drive; taxi will cost about $70 plus tip or you can UberX (good for 2-3 plus standard bags) for about $35+ Limo from Larry's Limos will be about $100+ depending upon how stretch you want the limo and the brand of champagne you want stocked. ;)

Although it was the opposite (Port of Miami to Port Everglades) we did this a couple of years ago. We were planning on using Uber, but when we got off the ship, right across the narrow road were people filling up vans/buses to take people to the Ft. Lauderdale airport and cruise port.

Everyone but us was dropped off at the airport; it was $15pp and they took us on to our ship right after the drop-offs. It really didn't take all that long to drop everyone off at their respective airlines. Maybe 45 minutes total.

We were at the port earlier than needed, even though we got off the ship at the last possible moment. It worked out great.

Without a phone Uber or Lyft will be just about impossible. :( Somewhat cheaper (if there are only 2 travelling) than a $70+ taxi from PE to POM is a $15+ taxi from PE to FLL and from there it's easy to catch a shared shuttle for about $15 per person to POM; check with SAS, QLS, MJS and Go Airport.

I envy you for being able to take back to back/side to side cruises - I can never seem to get away from work or my puppy for that long. Have too great cruises! :D
