Outdoors on the Norwegian Gem

Does anyone know if there is outside access on Deck 8 of the Gem? Considering a 14-day and trying to go economically but need a large window in Oceanview with possible outside access close by.

We've been on the Gem a few times and I don't believe there is outside access on 8. The closest would be one deck below on 7 where there are no passenger cabins. Many of the outside cabins on 8 are obstructed view also, if that's an issue for you. I don't think there are cabins on any decks with outside access except 11 and those would be mini suites, suites, and inside cabins.

one deck down is the promenade (deck 7). We actually loved the obstructed OV rooms on deck 8. great value.

Good idea, and the doors leading to the outside decks are right there.

Thank you for the quick reply. I booked this with my PCC and he has me near the Stairs for easy access to Deck 7.
