Spa Appointments?

I would swear last time we went on NCL, I could schedule spa appointments on line. When I checked this time, it says please book onboard. I could be getting my cruise lines mixed up, but wondering if it's just the ship we're on (NCL Star) or if they've changed their policy?

Don’t remember being able to book in advance. Do it quickly on embarkation day if you want a treatment on one of the sea days.
