Is there a Captain’s Welcome party in the Promenade tonight? Not that they are super interesting or anything, I’m just curious since we didn’t have one 2 weeks ago. I like to at least see the Captain just once and hear the summary of all the counties the guests onboard are from.

 

 

I am going to post the Compasses when I get home, perhaps it will be listed. We haven’t stumbled upon the actual ceremony but if we do I will let you know.

Thank you, Andrew, for your live review. It is particularly relevant for my wife and I, as we will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary on the 9/9 Allure cruise,with the same itinerary. We booked ourcruise two weeks ago, and we are bringing our children as well. We thought we were kinda last minute, butfour days…WOW.

Also, this is only our fourth cruise, and first on this sizeship. Any advice or suggestions specificto this class ship are appreciated.

I look forward to following the rest of youradventure, knowing we will soon be on the same ship in 13 days. I also look forward to seeing the dailyCruise Compass.

 

 

Congrats. We just hit years 14 last month. Book any shows and meals in advance. I hope to have the compasses posted shortly after I get home.

OMG, totally slept in. Woke at 6 and fell back asleep until just a few minutes ago.

 

Maintenance came and looked at our AC yesterday and said it’s working fine. I’m not so sure. Even Lisa is sleeping with the bedding at her waistline. She has joined the club like with. She said she is never going to complain about how cold I like the room again.

 

I have to remember to snap a pic of the room after turn down. Our “toe radar” has worked quite well at when the lights are out. Just think “sonar feet”.

Out of curiosity, does the Allure feel any "older" to you with you having been on Harmony recently? We haven't been on Allure/Oasis in a few years with having tried Anthem and Harmony and just curious if Allure/Oasis are showing signs of noticeable age?

My wife and I are Diamond Plus and I understand we can not use that discount unless we are on board. So for the Surf and Stream package on Board for each of us it would be $19.99 X 7 = $139.93 - $46 D+ Discount =$93.93 X 2 for a total of $187.65

In my cruise planner Surf 7 Stream 1 device is $11.99 per day and 2 device is $18.99 per day = $132.93 or $54.93 less than my wife and I buying on board with each of us getting the discount , Bob, would you agree to go ahead and buy ahead of time in my planner ? Seems contrary to what I have understood in the past , thanks in advance
