Bibble Posted August 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2018 I will be in Bermuda for a short day (8am-4pm). Trying to see Hamilton and also have a good amount of time at Horseshoe Beach. What kind of shopping is there in Hamilton? Should I just save the shopping for the dockyard? Without "shopping", on a Saturday morning would Hamilton then just be a "walk around and see how pretty the city is"? Are there any fun bars at 10am on a Saturday in Hamilton? Thanks for any info anyone can pass along to my broad variety of questioning!!! LOL!
njhorseman Posted August 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Given your short day and your desire to spend a lot of time at Horseshoe Bay I'd recommend skipping Hamilton altogether. The shopping isn't good enough to warrant a trip just for that. Pubs in Hamilton such as The Hog Penny and Flanagan's typically don't open until 11 or 11:30. Take the mini bus shuttle from Dockyard to Horseshoe Bay for $7 per person each way. Come back from the beach early enough to do some shopping at the Dockyard. richg35 Posted August 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2018 I don't know a ton about Hamilton shopping, but I love A.S. Cooper & Sons for menswear.
