EllieinNJ Posted August 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2018 Has anyone done a full day tour to Cajon Del Maipo in the Andes? Can you recommend a company? Would it be better to rent a car and DIY? Appreciate any responses.

hvbaskey Posted September 5, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2018 This company may be connected and might be able to offer a referral / suggestion: http://www.albatross-birding.com We hired them for a birding trek into the Andes, so can attest to their professionalism. Although, “their” tours (Birding, Nature, and/or photography) might not be what you are looking for, my suggestion is to contact them and ask if they have any colleagues / contacts that do :) Our adventure: https://baskeytravels.com/el-yeso-valley-chile/
bunnyette Posted September 12, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2018 We had a great day with Stamps Tours...great picnic lunch with plenty of wine. The road to Cajon del Maipo is narrow, winding and full of large trucks on their way to quarries past Cajon del Maipo. https://www.stampstour.com/ Sent from my iPad using Forums

buggins0402 Posted September 14, 2018 #6 Share Posted September 14, 2018 Can you tell me more about what you do/see on this tour? I am also interested. Please provide more information on what tour you took. I found one that was a combined winery/Andes ski resort and another that was more intensive Maipo ..but not winery.
