We are about to sail on Explorer.

 

Does anyone know who the senior officers are at present?

We just left the Explorer last Friday. The Captain is Serena and the GM is Davor. Andy Heath is the CD. Need other info?

Who are the entertainers in lounge?

I think it was Ross in the Observation Lounge, and Sandra and Thierry in the Explorer Lounge. The one complete Passages we brought home lists Eugene in the Meridian Lounge.

We had a fantastic trip! Just came home on Monday. Struggling with jet lag, so maybe we should fly back over and get back on!

Hi, this is not a trick question but is there a reason for asking why/who/what senior officers will be on board?

Just interested as to see if there is a difference in the onboard experience or if you know them personally or if it is just a question in general.

So happy to know that Captain Serena is on the Explorer. She makes such a difference on a cruise. We both adore her:D

It was our first time sailing with her. She is wonderful, and was always chatting with passengers at various places around the ship.

Thanks for the information. We were just curious. This will be our third cruise with Regent and we have met a few of them.

One thing that I do know is that the Captain and G.M. contracts are approximately 4 months in length, so it is doubtful if Serena or Davor will be onboard in December. It is possible that John Barron will be the C.D. because he is due back from vacation soon but he does try to get off during the holidays.

 

Very envious that you are doing Explorer to Cape Town (one of our favorite places on earth). No matter who the officers are, hope that you have an amazing time.
