Why is cruise not showing up on RCI website or other travel sites?

Hi, we booked a cruise for next September 2019 from Miami to Key West, Cuba and Cozumel. Went to the website to look at prices for this weekend to see if they are having a sale. The websites, RCI and travelocity, etc. are not showing any cruises from Miami in September 2019? When I log in to RCI our cruise reservation is there. Confused.

I will have to contact our travel agent then. It was Empress of the Seas and I was searching for 5 day cruises so that is why it was not showing. If they have moved or cancelled our cruise would it not change in the planner section of RCI? When I log in it is there. I thought maybe they were just not selling it for the labor day sale prices. We usually cruise Disney and this is our first RCI. Do they do this often if it is cancelled?

My Allure cruises were still showing when I logged in yet I had not been notified on what they are doing with all April sailings. Since the entire month was off the site and from what others told me on CC, it was a good chance they were putting her in dry dock. I still haven't heard anything but moved our booking to another ship & cruise. Only thing I did receive upon my TA calling was 1 of 2 Future Cruise Credits.

BTW, there's some discussion in another thread about what has happened to the Summer 2019 and later sailings on Empress. The thread started off about the added drydock in February 2019.

Report is some are receiving emails like this:

Dear Guest,

We are reaching out to let you know that, regrettably, we have to cancel your Empress of the Seas September 7, 2019 cruise. This is due to the Empress of Seas’ itineraries changing to more immersive 6 & 8 night sailings, including additional ports. We know this news may be disappointing and we apologize, but we have some robust vacation options to offer that we hope you will take advantage of.

A lot of Empress cruises have been updated. That being said RCI website is unreliable. I was checking price for a cruise last night, an 8 day best of Cuba leaving on Oct 25 2019.

The only filters I checked:

1, leaving from - Miami,

2, destination - Cuba

3, duration - 6 to 8 day

And nothing else, all other filters unchecked, and 31 cruises turned up but the Oct 25 2019 and the April 13 2019 ones were missing. However when I further specified date range to April or October they showed up.

Something wonky going on. I hope they are not canceling my cruise.

Yes, just received the same email from our travel agent. There are other options but the friends we are traveling with are asking does this happen often? We spent a lot of time picking the right dates and itinerary that we preferred. Will this happen again? What are the odds?

I would not say it happens often, but it is has not been uncommon in the last few years.
