Colo Cruiser Posted September 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2018 Which dining room is used for lunch on embarkation day? Sailing this coming Tuesday ( Sept. 11) to Alaska. On our recent cruise it was Donatello deck 6 (atrium). In the past it was in Canaletto Deck 6 aft. Check the Patter or just head there. Noon-1:30pm. Check the Patter or just head there. Noon-1:30pm. Interesting! On the Grand class ships the only time we have had embarkation lunch in the aft DR was the International DR on the Sapphire and Diamond. On other Grand class ships it has always been the midship Fiesta deck 6 MDR.

It is a suggestion only. Normally embarkation will start between 11 and noon. True, the new procedures may result in your cabin not being available until 1 PM, but that does not delay the boarding process. The embarkation dining room should be open for entry from Noon until 1:30 for lunch.

Belmont Babe Posted September 7, 2018 #7 Share Posted September 7, 2018 It's our first time in the States, we've purchase the aforementioned Princess Cruise Hotel and transfer to save our sanity, and will therefore be at the mercy of the coach transfer from the hotel as to when we arrive at the ship. It normally is not a huge amount to take a taxi to the ship if you want to go prior to taking the coach transfer. Probably under $20 USD which is about 17 Euro.
