I just did a solo B2B cruise on Getaway. First cruise received $100, second cruise only $50. Onboard Guest relations inquired on my behalf but Miami wouldn't budge. I ended up reducing DSC on the second leg by $50 to make up the $50 Miami shorted me. Now I know many will not agree with that and I can appreciate that. However, I made an investment of 100 shares of my own money. If I had been sailing with my girlfriend, there is no basis to split the OBC. She isn't entitled to any credit because she is not the legal owner of NCL stock. They are supposed to be rewarding the 100 share investment. To somehow attempt to tie the reward to whether or not I am sailing solo or with someone doesn't make sense.
