Loyalty obc

I think the Loyalty OBC should be based on cruise days and not the number of cruises. There is a big monetary difference from taking a 1-3 day cruise vs a 38 day cruise. Many other Cruise Lines loyalty programs count the days and not the number of cruises. I hope that Princess follows their lead.

Can we please not start this again? People have been fighting about it since Princess introduced days or cruises around 2008 or so (Forgot the exact year).

I think it's great that Princess does both - and we should all hope that they don't follow some other lines. In a simple balcony on X it would take 100 nights to get 90 minutes of internet and one bag of laundry. If you get 234 nights, you get 240 free minutes, and 2 bags of laundry.

And for unlimited laundry ( and internet) it's 1000 nights.

The Loyalty OBC is the only Captain's Club benefit that is based only on number of cruise credits. All other** benefits are based on loyalty level which can be achieved by either cruise days or cruise credits.

**However the Most Traveled Passengers event is based on number of days only with cruise credits being a tie breaker if two people have the same number of days.

Except loyalty OBC is the one thing that is cruises only.

At my current rate I’ll have about 500+ day’s by the time I get 20 cruises.
