Premier Cruise Check-In

We are going on our first Premier casino cruise in November. One of the perks of the premier cruise is priority boarding. Can someone tell me if Premier cruisers still go through the regular security line? Also what would indicate that you were premiere? I’m assuming your boarding pass.

You still go regular security line, but you are just expedited to the ship because your boarding pass will have PRIORITY in red letters near the top. Just show that and you go to the head of the line. Have fun.

Once on the ship, you will have a bag waiting for both of you with Premier lanyards and Drink passes for the casino. Other than that, and the gifts you will receive, you will look like normal passengers.

Once inside the terminal lobby, you will see the Premier check in area.

Yes, my wife has always gotten the DOU card and she hardy ever gambles. She is also invites with you to the welcome party first night before dinner. Definitely go. Free drinks, a free drawing for cash/prizes, and nice horses die vorses.

They may if they, too, are Priority or staying in your cabin.

It will say "priority" on their boarding passes if they are eligible, If not, no.

Great question. I have my first premier Cruise booked Dec... I wanted to know if our cabins will be available once we board like on Faster to the Fun? Also, will we have access to the priority lines at guest services. I'm trying to see if it's worth it to pay for faster to the fun.

Just got off our second premier (Horizon out of NYC with the freshly banged up pier). We had a separate line for both security and check-in at 11:30am. Glad we did because the line stretched way out of the terminal with 4,000+ guests.

You might go the "head of the line", but several terminals will have a set aside area for premier check in and wait. You will not board in front of wedding guests, diamonds or platinums. You might board with the FTTFs who board after the 3 groups I just mentioned or you can be immediately after them. You will board before the zone #'s are called. I don't think you have early access to your cabin.

Any details re Premier you want to share? Was the casino super busy? I am booked on my first Sept 29. Freedom out of Galveston. Very excited.

No early access to cabin, no access to Priority Line at GS and no tender priority.

My friend who is traveling with me has only cruised on Carnival one time.

 

Can someone confirm that she will not get the DOU card?

 

Also, since I'm platinum, I do NOT want to get in the Premier line, correct?

You should get free drinks plus one guest should get free drinks. Atleast thats how it is on my premier cruise in December.

Drinks on Us is only when you are in the casino gambling, ie sitting at a slot playing or at a table game playing. Most people stand for craps.

 

If you are on an elite cruise, the drinks are good anywhere.

 

If your room is not ready, find your steward and asked to be put on the Hamilton list. If you are from Rio Linda, Hamilton is on the ten.

 

If your companion has no Drinks on Us in the welcome kit, just ask in the casino. In the worst case they say no.
