how soon to complete names of cabin guests?

This is the first time I've booked a cruise and not provided all cabin occupants' names prior to paying the deposit. This is for early 2020. In your experience, ow long do I have to provide the names of the other occupants? I'll do it long before mid2019 but would like to wait a few weeks if possible.

To be honest, I have no idea, and Carnival's search function on their website is mostly broken, so I can't dig deep enough.

 

But, I would think you need to finalize the names when you check in, which is no earlier than 90 days prior to sailing. So you should be good for getting the names into your booking around mid-2019 for an early 2020 sailing.
