Adventure of the Seas hump balcony question

We have 2 cabins next to each other on the hump 8314 and 8316 on Adventure of the Seas. They are not connecting cabins but I was wondering if the balcony partition/divider can be opened up. I was viewing a video and I did see a door handle. Is this something we can do?

Has anyone stayed in these hump cabins and what are your thoughts compared to regular balcony cabins?

Thanks

Balcony partitions cannot be opened on Adventure.

It is not a removable panel it is stronger material & I had one of them it was great, but unique & the balcony depth was small!

In first generation Voyager ships (Voyager, Explorer, Adventure), the balconies are part of the hull/skin of the ship. Starting after that, the balconies were affixed separately to the outside of the hull.

Therefore the balconies are somewhat cave-like.
