Should I go from a spa balcony to an H6? Need very quick answer.

got a call from my TA. We can upgrade from a spa mini to an H6 for $45.00. Should I go for it?

Yes that is a no brainer! The aft penthouse is wonderful, large balcony, plus haven access.... You can always try the Haven and if you feel you need the spa, the pass can be purchased on board.

Personally, I would. H6 is a nice suite. Spa access is not that important to me. If important to you even when in a suite, you must factor in cost of paying for spa access.

$45??? I've never paid for an upgrade, but at that price I *definitely* would. It would be worth it just for the priority embarkation and disembarkation (on port days).

 

If you don't have kids, I would also pay the extra $150 each or whatever and get the spa pass.

We have never used the spa. Just got the free upgrade so figured I would take it. We are looking into going to deck 11. Back corner.

We've sailed in both a spa balcony a couple of times, as well as in the Haven a couple of times. I'd pick the Haven every single time. In fact, we're now converts and can't ever imagine sailing in anything less. And at $45, I hope l like hell you said YES!

Plus, the higher DSC for the suite would apply unless it is already taken care of via promo or pre-paid.

My thinking was that the travel agent had a last second suite cancellation but had someone willing to pay for the spa mini suite (not the suite). With the sailing in about 24 hours, someone desperately wanted to fill the empty suite. The solution would have been to slide someone in a spa mini suite into the empty suite and sell the now empty spa mini suite.
