You can upgrade after final payment. You would lose any perks that are not being offered at the time of the upgrade.

It would depend on the upgrade situation.

 

 

If Royal calls you with a paid upgrade offer I believe that you keep all of your original perks.

 

If you see a low price and call to change categories then you are essentially rebooking at the current rates with the current perks so you would lose existing perks.
