OK, let's get this party going.

 

First off, I never thought we'd book the President's Cruise to begin with, much less the week before. In this case fate has a funny way of stepping in. Laura got a call back in August last year from a dear friend of hers, one of the original Pinnacles. Somehow this tiny 85 year old lady strong armed Laura into booking. It's my understanding she did this to many others as well. She should work on commission. And then on Mariner this spring, some folks were talking in the CL about going the week before. I agreed if we could get the same cabin, didn't think it would be available. Off to NextCruise and bingo, here we are. :eek:

 

This is my first Live since Mariner, that one lasted a month, so 14 days should be easy.

 

Things to expect.

I'm planning on using this forum to compare a normal week aboard Harmony to the circus that should be the 3rd Annual President's Cruise.

We'll be on Deck 7, so let's see how often I get stuck on the wrong side of the Aft elevators.

We have a new dog sitter, so I doubt there will be much of Bella.

This will be my perspective as a fairly new Pinnacle, so lot's of CK, SL, C&A events, etc.. Especially week 2.

There will be lot's of pictures. Mainly from my phone, not bringing the DSLR

I don't mind an open forum, feel free to ask anything, answer if you feel like it. Just have fun.

I need to be mindful of my wife, so I may be AWOL from time to time. Happy wife, happy life.

I plan on experimenting with a few tricks and hacks that folks ask about from time to time.

First time on Harmony, so excited to try a lot of her wonders.

Wonderland, Jamie's, Bionic Bar, Ultimate Abyss, Perfect Storm, etc..

She'll be our homeport ship for the next year or so, I hope we love her.

Hey I know that tiny 85 year old lady :hearteyes: Just remembered you telling me you were going to be doing this live review. Really nice reading and seeing pictures before we get on next week. Thanks John. You and Laura have a nice week, because I am afraid you are right about next week.

I am enjoying so far and looking forward to hearing about the PC cruise. Do you mind if I ask what brand of suitcases the blue and pink ones are? I love them!

I am going to enjoy that shower more than the bathtubs. A few more pictures of bathroom and cabin please. Need to figure out where I am going to put all Mom's stuff :O

Delicious, looks like all the dishes we had yesterday for Pinnacle Lunch, held in 150 but Jamie's food. Disembarking Symphony this morning, see you on Sat - hope to be onboard for lunch at CK ! Enjoy your week.

Are you and mom going to be sailing allure for Oct 22 or you two have a Halloween cruise booked? Have a great cruise with mom next week!

The food pics look tasty. Like I said, everything we ate was fair to good; nothing was great or excellent.

 

Looking forward to your comments on next weeks cruise. Feeling sorry for the staff. They are stressed about it and rightfully so.

No special invitation, anyone can book the president's cruise.
