Hotel near Ft Lauderdale port?

does anyone have any experience with a "reasonable" hotel near the Ft Lauderdale port? just for one night before the cruise. thanks

Try the Renaissance. I stayed there last November and it was quite nice.

go to the "hotels" section of the posts. There is a wonderful gentleman poster named "Trent S" who is a wealth of info for the Ft Laud area. Also when you make the request as a new post list it as "FLL hotels" as that's how most people input it. We've book at the Hyatt Pier 66 for an upcoming cruise and hope we like it. try the Marriott Marina - its right next to the port

We just got back from our Radisson Voyager Panamal Canal cruise and

stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Convention Center and found it to be very nice.

NOTE:

While we were there 2 semi's pulled up and started unloading brand new beds.

They were going to replace all of them at the hotel.
