peacefulOR Posted September 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2018 I can't see where you block a poster; I just want the flashing eyeball off of my screen. It gives me a headache and I have no problems with the poster, just the eye. Can you help me? Thank you!
Cruseforme Posted September 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2018 Go to your login, click on ‘edit options’, and go down the page, and unclick the option for show avatars. I looked up your history, and found what you are writing about, and when I turned off avatars, it no longer showed. Good luck.

Thank you very kindly; I've tried to be always positive and felt bad about complaining. You are awesome.
Tim-n-Gina Posted September 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 23, 2018 Thank you for asking this, and thanks for the answer! The flashing eyeball is truly a distracting eyesore (pun intended...).
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 23, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2018 I also was curious about that flashing eyeball. Horrible. Glad you got help in turning off avators.

Turning off avatars works, but the time may come when you want to actually block someone. 1) go to your control panel 2) click on Edit Options 3) click on Edit Ignore List 4) Type in the screen name of the person you want to ignore. As you start typing the name a drop down window will list user names that fit what you are typing, so you won't have to type in the whole username. peacefulOR Posted September 23, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted September 23, 2018 Thank you all. I know how to do it now, including ignoring someone. Guess I've always been too interested in what everyone has to say to learn the basics.:D
