Advice about balcony cabin on Oceana

We booked one on Lido deck because it was so handily positioned. Straight out on deck or up one flight of stairs to the buffet. Liked it so much we booked it again the next time!

However be warned that the balcony is small and metal style. The bathroom is the tiniest you have ever seen. The cabin is pretty small too. Keep your expectations fairly low. We still had great cruises.

Personally we wouldn't go with the Lido deck and always go for A deck. We tend to go as far as we can to the front though !

Last year my brother and SIL came with us and as one suffered from sea sickness we booked them midships on deck B. It was close enough to the lifts and they loved it

Don't go for C deck as the balconies are smaller (not as open)

If you don't smoke then go for a balcony on starboard as, if you are midships on Port Side, you will be over the prom deck where people can smoke.

Any more questions re this lovely ship just ask
