Ncl guaranteed mini suite

We are considering a cruise on the ncl gem. It seems to me that all of the mini suites are on the 11th deck. Are any of these rooms obstructed? Trying to figure out if it’s worth taking the chance to book an obstructed mini suite?

Just read about all the pool noise from above. I think we’ll probably go with a balcony cabin instead.

We have stayed in mini suites on the Dawn and never had a problem with noise above under pool deck or buffet.

We never have had “problems” with deck noises. And would not hesitate to book a gty mini.

Don't forget that a lot of the mini-suites also have a large overhang.

 

Some people like it for the shade, but if you're a stargazer it does block out a lot of the sky.

We were in a mini a couple of years ago, and we had no problems with noise. We were on the starboard side, right under the pool. There are tables with chairs on both sides of the ship, and the crew puts everything in place for the next day. The only concerns we had was the music at night, but that wasn't as issue either fortunately.
